Job Description: VP Marketing

Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced marketing professional to fill our VP of Marketing position. This position works alongside our CEO in order to achieve our target growth goals and will contribute to the development and execution of our branding and marketing strategies.

Position Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Execute objectives and goals outlined in marketing strategy;
• Collaborate with online marketing management team, PPC/SEO/Social campaigns;
• Manage and execute direct to consumer advertising campaigns (print media, event sponsorships, etc.)
• Manage marketing budget between offline and online advertising;
• Public Relations;
• Work with creative design team for print and online ads;
• Social media campaign strategies;
• Evaluate new marketing opportunities;
• Generate new marketing ideas;
• Generate yearly marketing plans;
• Analyze effectiveness of ad campaigns;
• Manage marketing team;
• Seek out and execute partnership marketing opportunities with our brand/merchant partners;
• Communicate and report to CEO and possibly board of directors;

Position Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience in brand marketing within the surf, skate or snow industries;
• Creative and strategic thinking;
• Highly motivated and goal orientated;
• Entrepreneurial spirited;
• Experience to campaign photo shoots and events;
• Ability to multi-task;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator;
• Experience with ecommerce and online marketing (a plus);
• Experience working with creative agencies;
• Organizational awareness.
